During these weekly 60 minute walks, the Good City Group invites participants to observe and discuss the opportunities that the opening of a new Metra station between Ravenswood, Peterson, and Ridge avenues will offer to the West Ridge and Edgewater communities, beyond the availability of fast public transportation to and from the neighborhoods. We also assess possible challenges to walkability that the future station may either increase or alleviate.
