Architecture of Reparations: Bronzeville Bike Tour
About the program
In coordination with the exhibition Architecture of Reparations by Riff Studio presented at the new CAB Studio at the Chicago Cultural Center, The Architecture of Reparations: Bronzeville Bike Tour highlights landmarks and select sites throughout Bronzeville that tell the story of erasure in Bronzeville, a historic South Side Chicago neighborhood—one of the many Black Metropolises in the twentieth century. Beginning and ending at Overton Elementary School, the ride will give riders the opportunity to imagine the possibilities of past and present through historic architecture sites in the Bronzeville neighborhood.
Following the ride, please join us for Creative Grounds Community Day hosted from 2–5pm at Overton Elementary.
