Metrotopia Metaverse, created by Zaha Hadid Architects and ArchAgenda, is a virtual city and creative communication hub for the entire design ecosystem across all disciplines and scales, including its supporting institutions and media organizations. Metrotopia launched in May 2023 with the virtual exhibition titled ‘Knowledge Transfer’ as part of collateral event of the Venice Biennale. The exhibition was expanded for the Chicago Architecture Biennial, and includes works by leading architects OMA, Morphosis, ZHA, MAD Architects, Coop Himmenblau, LAVA, UNStudio, Sou Fujimoto Architects, Contemporary Architecture Practice, Minimaforms, EcoLogicStudio and more. Metrotopia Metaverse will host an open series of metaverse Keynote presentations and Events titled ‘ArchAgenda Debates’ during CAB 5.
