About the program
Celebrate the opening of this exhibition that looks back at the historical Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) program “Operation Breakthrough” and presents experimental housing prototypes from the Housing Futures Initiative. It is organized by Alexander Eisenschmidt, a designer, writer, and Professor of architecture at the University of Illinois at Chicago.
