Chicago is renowned for its history of architectural firms that have significantly impacted not only the city but also the nation and cities around the world.  A new generation of firms is emerging, motivated to carry forward this legacy through innovative ideas and diverse priorities. Join the Chicago Architecture Biennial for an engaging Roundtable discussion featuring the founders of four newly established Chicago-based architectural firms. Each founder will provide insights into their firm’s inception, mission, process and early project examples, as well as the successes and challenges they have faced while establishing their distinct architectural paths.

Participants  include: Elyse Agnello, AlA, NCARB (DAAM), Alison Von Glinow, AIA (Kwong Von Glinow), Annabell Ren, APA (Converge Architecture); and Wei Yu, AIA, LEED AP BD+C, (Yu & Associates Collaborative). The conversation will be moderated by Chicago Architecture Biennial Board Member Mark Sexton, FAIA, of Krueck Sexton Partners.
