About the program

Designing Dialogue: Artists on the Legacy of Farnsworth

at MillerKnoll

1100 W Fulton Market, Chicago, IL 60607

Experience an engaging conversation about art, architecture, culture, and preservation—all inspired by the iconic Edith Farnsworth House. Designed by renowned architect Mies van der Rohe, the house is not only a modernist masterpiece but also a continuing source of inspiration for artists across disciplines.

Hear from current artist-in-residence Tom Rossiter; former artists-in-residence Petra Bachmaier and Sean Gallero of Luftwerk; and Assaf Evron, as they share how the Farnsworth House has influenced their creative work. Curator Rebekah Coffman will guide the discussion, offering insight into how this historic site continues to shape contemporary artistic practices.

Presented by the Edith Farnsworth House.
