Join the Chicago Architecture Center and Preservation Chicago as we reveal Chicago’s 7 Most Endangered Buildings for 2024. Since 2003, the Chicago 7 Most Endangered has sounded the alarm on imminently threatened historic buildings and public assets in Chicago to mobilize the stakeholder support necessary to save them from demolition. Join the Chicago Architecture Center and Preservation Chicago as we reveal Chicago’s 7 Most Endangered Buildings for 2024.

Ward Miller, The Richard H. Driehaus Executive Director of Preservation Chicago, will present the 2024 Chicago 7 Most Endangered and share history, threats, and recommendations for each selection.

Ward Miller is the executive director of Preservation Chicago, a position he has held since 2013. For more than 30 years, Miller has advocated for the preservation of Chicago’s historic buildings. He spent two decades on the issues committee for Landmarks Illinois and served as vice president of Logan Square Preservation for 15 years. He also helped the City Club of Chicago in its efforts to save the Chicago Theatre, the Page Brothers Building and several buildings on Block 37. Prior to his current role, Miller worked on many other restoration projects including Holy Family
