Join us for a transformative experience at the upcoming Black Girl Takeover event! Immerse yourself in intimate conversations and immersive workshops inspired by the landmark exhibition Freedom Square: Black Girlhood Altar hosted at A Long Walk Home. Celebrate beauty, care, ritual, healing, play, and joy, and engage in image-making, artistic, and wellness practices that are central to Black girlhood. The event is open to the public, and all are welcome to participate in this two-day-long festival. Saturday, March 9, 2023, from 12-4 pm and Sunday, March 10, 2023, from 10 am – 5 pm.
