LIGA, Space for Architecture

Mexico City, Mexico

LIGA is an independent non-profit platform founded in 2011 to promote Latin American contemporary architecture. Through exhibitions, lectures, and workshops, it fosters experimental discourse on architecture’s possibilities. Based in Mexico City’s Laguna creative hub, LIGA hosts three annual exhibitions where emerging studios from across Latin America intervene in its gallery space. Its program LIGA-ARCHIVES aims to activate and provide access to historical resources, offering critical reflection on architectural practice in the region. LIGA builds cross-disciplinary connections and challenges traditional formats of architectural representation, encouraging dialogue and experimentation within and beyond the discipline.
