adamo-faiden is an architecture studio founded in 2005 by Sebastián Adamo and Marcelo Faiden. Their practice spans from material experimentation to intellectual speculation. Their work has been exhibited at venues including the São Paulo Architecture Biennial, the Venice Architecture Biennale, the Guggenheim Museum in New York, the Chicago Architecture Biennial, Storefront for Art and Architecture, and the Deutsches Architekturmuseum. The studio operates as a collaborative structure with Luciana Lembo, Tomás Pérez, and Jonathan Lee as project directors. In 2020, Agustín Fiorito became an associate architect, marking the opening of adamo-faiden’s Montevideo office. Sebastián Adamo studied architecture at the University of Buenos Aires and pursued postgraduate studies at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia. He has taught at Columbia GSAPP, Princeton, Di Tella, and the Polytechnic University of Milan. Marcelo Faiden holds a PhD in architecture and is dean at Di Tella Arquitectura. He has taught at Princeton and lectured internationally, including at EPFL, ETSAM, The Berlage, and the Canadian Centre for Architecture.

Project Overview

Huergo 475 Tower

Located where Buenos Aires’ oldest and newest neighborhoods meet, Huergo 475 Tower creates a fresh urban experience that blends architecture, landscape, and public life. A new public square and a series of horizontal displacements connect the tower to the city, creating shared spaces that encourage social interaction and strengthen the bond between residents and the surrounding neighborhood.
