Join MAS Context for the ninth edition of its Tracing/Traces event, offering a behind-the-scenes look at selected items from the Art Institute of Chicago’s Ryerson & Burnham Art and Architecture Archives.

Five architects and designers will select items from the collection and discuss them in relationship to their practice, the discipline, and/or society. Nathaniel Parks, Tigerman McCurry Director of the Art Institute of Chicago Archives, will provide a brief introduction to the archives.

Participants include: Zehra Ahmed, esearcher and writer: Dirk Denison, Dirk Denison Architects; Anders Nereim, Anders Nereim Architects; Uthman Olowa, educator, artist, and designer; and Melissa Rovner, educator and historian.
