1st Place: Graphic Design | Back of the Yards by Roberto Duarte

The neighborhood I chose to represent was Back of the Yards. This neighborhood is important because I grew up in Back of the Yards. Back of the Yards it has been my home since I was born. Its has a rich history, it was once a large pig factory. The gate of the factory is still standing to this day and could be visited. My design displays the factory and the gate that is still standing. Also, I drew the factory smoke stacks that illustrates the smoke forming into a pig. Additionally, I drew a clock tower that was a famous bank. Finally, I drew the background to represent the pattern that is inside the high school of Back of the Yards.
